Locating System Diagnostic Data

Overview

This article shows the paths where you can find logs that contain the system diagnostic data, which is useful whenever you need to trace back a particular event for troubleshooting purposes.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the corresponding servers for each log

Find below the different log files, their default location, and what they are used for:

  • Call Distribution Server Tracing

FPSS

Log file for the FPSS service. FPSS is used to transfer files from AMS2 to client servers.  <ORG> is the organization being used. There may be several per server e.g. one for the Organisation and one for the System Catalogue.

CCS

MMR

Log files for routing of calls through CSA-MMR

MCG

FPSS

  • Call Information Server Tracing

CIS Data Receiver

C:\Users\<USER-ACC>\AppData\Local\Volt Delta\OASIS\<ORG>\LOG

CIS data receiver log.
CIS Data Receiver gets UMIS data from the CDS (CCDI/TCP) and MSMQ.
<USER-ACC> is the user account under which the service runs (the service should run under the OASIS-CIS-Service user account).
<ORG> is the organization being used.

Profile Publication Service

C:\OASIS\LOG\HST\OAMS2-PUB-<ORG>

Log file for the PPS service.
This service is used to publish AMS2 data to the LDSs/CISs-<ORG>

 

  • CTI Web Server Tracing

SAS log containing all user agent events for ClickOnce users. So for example logon, logoff, call handling performed at operator position etc. <USER> is the name of the operator.

  • Data File Server Tracing

Log file for the Call Recording Management service used to housekeep audio and video recording files and processes the video recording files.  <ORG> is the organization being used. There may be several per server e.g. one for the Organisation

 

  • Internet Web Server Tracing

WSServer

CRP

Trace information will be displayed at the bottom of each page.

Logs for CRP. Call Recording Presentation service. Uses Call Recording Data service to retrieve the information from the database(s).

RNCI
